TAF (Technology Access Foundation) has worked to improve access to STEM opportunities for students of color and underrepresented communities for over 23 years. Our work has spanned from running after-school programs, opening our own school, partnering with school districts, and supporting education professionals to utilize our STEMbyTAF academic model. Through our efforts, we know that all students are capable of success – with the right support and resources. We collaborate with public education to create access to opportunities in STEM and beyond for students and teachers of color. We transform entire classrooms, building supportive, nurturing, innovative learning environments where students want to learn and succeed. Our students are working to solve real-world problems now. We know that they are capable of leading the world, and we’re committed to making it happen. TAF@Saghalie TAF@Saghalie (formerly TAF Academy) is a 7x award-winning public school serving 6-12th grade. It is a public neighborhood school co-managed by TAF and Federal Way Public Schools; the first of its kind in the state.
